Family-style and banquet-style layouts. Modern rustic look. Works well in long, narrow rooms.

8ft Rectangular (96")

Maximum seating efficiency. Corporate/gala feel. Commonly used for head table arrangements.

Round vs Rectangular Tables

Round tables are the most popular choice for wedding receptions because they encourage conversation across the whole table and look elegant with a draped tablecloth. Rectangular tables fit more guests per square foot, are easier to arrange in long banquet rows, and give an intimate, family-style atmosphere.

Allow Space for Comfort

A comfortable seated dinner requires at least 12 square feet per guest. This accounts for the table, chairs, and walkways. Don't forget to add space for the dance floor (50–100 sq ft minimum), DJ/band setup, bar, cake table, gift table, and any photo booth.
